Gros Morne Reflections

There's no way to express how full my heart is in this moment, but let me try.
The Gros Morne Puppetry Intensive and Residency was a place-based, creative collaboration project, but in truth, it was so much more. Throughout past two weeks, I've been learning, living and playing with the most amazing group of people. We studied wood carving, colour theory, movement, collaboration, play and puppetry from the inspiring David Lane.
For inspiration, we were given 24/7 access to the aquarium, toured tidal pools with a renowned scientist, held dinosaur bones, kayaked, took boat tours, dove off the docks and stayed up until midnight gushing over the shooting stars as they travelled along the outskirts of the Milky Way.
From building my first wooden puppet, to performing hilarious and beautiful vignettes together, all I can manage to say to the other participants is;
Thank you all so very much,
I will never forget the beautiful moments we shared together, and I hope to see you soon!
